Tuesday, June 02, 2009Hello, Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Robbie Chambers. Some of you may have met me during my many years as a pc service technician in Asheville, NC. Most recently I have been employed by Uptime Computer Sales and Services, LLC. However, you may have heard by now that Uptime Computer Sales and Services has closed its physical office location on New Leicester Highway. Uptime also sent out letters to their contract customers to announce that they would be ceasing business operations. The economy has taken its toll on many business in the area and across the country. This unfortunate scenario has presented a unique opportunity for myself and my like minded associates to pick up the pieces and move forward. We hope to make what used to be Uptime a viable and successful business entity once again. We also feel that this approach is in the best interests of our customers whether they be contract customers or those that simply call when they have a problem. Uptime has been in the area many years and as a result has a large and loyal customer base. We would like to continue to serve your needs and earn your business for the future. It has recently been brought to our attention that there are emails going out to some of our current clients as well as many of our previous clients stating that we are out of business and attempting to steer those customers in another direction. The truth is that Uptime Computer is out of business. However, they have made arrangements to carry out their contractual obligations. We have a strong group of technicians and are able to meet the needs of our customers in the present and in the future. Uptime Computer Sales and Services, LLC has entered into an agreement with Robbie Chambers and WNCPCS, LLC to continue to provide services to Uptime's pre-paid clients until such contractual obligations are met. WNCPCS and their associates are here to assure you that you will receive the same level of service and professionalism you have been accustomed to. We would also like to improve your service experience by providing additional avenues of service not previously offered by Uptime. Since we are making a fresh start, the business known as Uptime will be begin its new management and operations under the name WNCPCS, LLC. We have partnered with two other companies; Asheville Medical IT Associates, LLC and Peak One Technology, Inc. This increases our knowledge base and ensures that there will always be someone available to handle your needs in a timely manner.
The majority of our services are performed onsite so we will not be opening an office location. If you have a need to have your computer serviced outside your home or office we will gladly pick up the unit, make the necessary repairs and deliver it back to you. We are working on a new website with more features and resources. In the meantime http://www.uptimecomputer.net is still functional as are the email addresses for uptime computer. We hope to have our new site completed soon. I appreciate your time and consideration in reading this letter and wish you all the best for the future. We are currently scheduling onsite computer and networking services and pick-ups for depot service in Asheville, NC and the surrounding areas of Western North Carolina.
